Compare My Build ("the App") is a speed test and community showcase application for homemade machines. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Location Data: We collect GPS location data only during active speed tests to calculate speed, distance, and route. Location tracking stops immediately when you end a test.
Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
Speed Test Data: Vehicle type, vehicle category, speed measurements, distance, duration, country, and optional driver/vehicle names you provide.
Photos: If you upload a vehicle or profile photo using the system photo picker, only the selected image is accessed. We do not access or scan your full photo library.
We do not sell your personal information. Leaderboard entries (vehicle type, speed, and optional display name) are visible to other users. We use Google AdMob for advertising, which may collect device identifiers for ad personalization.
Your data is stored securely on our servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit. Guest mode data is stored locally on your device only.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings tab within the App. Upon deletion, all your speed tests, profile information, and uploaded photos are permanently removed from our servers.
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us or using the in-app account deletion feature.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App.
